How much I love granola to sprinkle on my smoothie or to enjoy it with cold almond milk! I don't like to buy the ready-made ones in the shop as they contain way too much sugars and processed fats. I often take them off the shelves but after having a first look at the ingredients I often put them back, and my daughters won't mind anymore as they know this crunchy home made granola will be the alternative and they just love it! The jar will empty in one or two days! Ok, we are a big family but still, they will grab for it whenever they feel hungry. Isn't this the best gift to your kids? Feeding them home-made (WITH LOVE!) stuff with quality ingredients that really feed them, nourish them and leave them fully energised to tackle any challenges in their day.

Yield  1 glass container

Prep time  10 min

Cook time 30 min

Ingredients - makes a medium jar :

- 1/2 cup  pumpkin seeds

- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds

- 1/4 cup hemp seeds

- 1/2 cup of coconut flakes

- 1/4 cup of flax meal

- 1 cup raw buckwheat

- 1/4 cup of maple syrup

- 2 tbsp coconut oil

Warm the oven on 175 degrees

Mix all the dry ingredients together with a wooden spoon in a big bowl. Let the coconut melt on a low fire and add the maple syrup. Mix the wet and dry ingredients together. Put a baking sheet on the oven tray and spread the mixture out here. Bake for 30 minutes and check now and then to prevent too much baking on one side.

You can store this granola up to 2 weeks in an airtight glass container
