Vibrant V is all about creating a thriving happy version of YOU! As a Coach and Psychologist I help people to make space. Space for more wellbeing, transformation, for finding connection with your authentic self and for what you want in life, based on the scientific principles of Positive Psychology.

Vibrant V is about supporting you in developing yourself into the person you need to be to create the most extraordinary, fulfilling and abundant life you can imagine. It’s time to blast through the roadblocks holding you back and step into your potential by focusing on the 6 Wellness pilars.

I offer yoga classes, workshops and one on one coaching sessions, in-person or online, with a scope on improving your wellbeing and unleashing your full potential. The main objective in all my work is making you flourish, improving your life’s satisfaction and creating more balance and happiness in your life.

My goal is to get you in that place! 

I want to inspire you to start or continue this journey towards the best version of yourself, towards increasing your life satisfaction on many different levels.

There is no ‘fits all’ way to our most vibrant self, that’s why we combine different methods to get into that place.

In a nutshell, I help people achieve overall wellbeing by exploring the 6 wellness pillars and supporting them in choosing what needs their full attention. I have more than 20 years of experience, insight and qualifications in the field of maximising human potential both mind and body.

With the right tools and resources, you too can find yourself emerging into new possibilities, opportunities and transformation. I am qualified and specialised in: positive psychology, coaching, mindfulness, cognitive behavioural methods, holistic nutrition, reiki and yoga.  The holistic coaching will empower individuals to tap into their potential and unleash all of their talents, achieve their goals, and remove any roadblocks.

MY JOURNEY

For many years, before becoming an expat, I was working as a child psychologist, managing the household with my children and juggling my social life with a lot of obligations. I was just living life, without any reflection, and often had the feeling something was missing in my job but of course... I just kept going. This was my life.

A lot changed when I became an expat in 2012 and we moved to Doha, Qatar.

The effect of being pulled away out of your country of origin, Belgium, and experiencing a cultural very different environment is huge! You are totally thrown back at yourself and the exposure to novel cultural values and norms, prompts you to repeatedly engage with your own values and beliefs, which are then either discarded or strengthened.

Very soon, I often got two questions coming up: “What do I really want in my life?" and "How can I be the best version of myself so I can be of better service to others?"

The first year abroad I studied more about nutrition and yoga and my passion grew even more, so I became a Nutrition Therapist and a Registered Yoga Teacher. I was blending this into my practice as a Psychologist.

A healthy lifestyle, with good nutrition and movement, became a foundation in my life. It gives me so much happiness when I can inspire others to take care of themselves as well.

By practicing yoga, I got in connection with my real self, I could figure out what I really want in life, who I really was and I learned to quiet my always scattered mind. I also started to feel the effects of nourishing vibrant foods on my body, mind and spirit. I started to feel so energized and alive, my thoughts became so clear, my immune system got very strong, my meditation and yoga practice grew. It just all felt right. 

The combination of living abroad, feeling passionate in my coaching work, practicing yoga, mindfulness and meditation, surrounding myself with people that are positive and vibrant, made me the person I am today. 

In the summer of 2020, I couldn’t travel to Belgium as the COVID-19 pandemic was still around. I wanted take something useful out of this challenge - I was missing my family back home a lot- and decided to step into the Coach Training and Leadership Program. This program gave me the extra tools I was looking for. It came at exactly the right time and I am endless grateful for this opportunity.

When working with clients I feel how powerful my work is by integrating all these elements in my practice. 

Supporting and coaching people, based on the principles of Positive Psychology, where I can focus on every main aspect of a person’s life in relation to the whole, is so valuable. It can help people access their full potential and make transformational lasting changes.

about Valerie

Valérie graduated as a Master in Psychology in 2002. She continued studying next to her work as a Child Psychologist to become a Registered Communication and Family Psychotherapist. She worked for 8 years as a Clinical Child Psychologist and worked more into prevention the 2 years before she moved abroad. 

In 2012 Valérie moved to Doha, Qatar, with her family, and started studying Nutrition to become a Nutritional Therapist.  Valerie started creating workshops in healthy food cafes, was a main speaker on festivals, and coached many people from around the world.

In 2016 Valerie graduated as a Registered Yoga Teacher (200hrs) and did additional trainings in Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Flow and is teaching yoga and yoga workshops since then to inspire people and to create balance in others life. In 2021 she finished another 300hrs training in California, to become a RYT-500.

She also studied mindfulness at Mindful Schools to incorporate this in her own life and in the work with clients under the format of Mindfulness and Mindful parenting.

Valerie learned more about Reiki and completed level I, level II and Reiki Master. She also combines reiki with yin yoga in her yoga classes.

Valerie also completed the ICF Professional Coach Training at Empower World in Doha, Qatar, in 2020 as she was looking for more practical tools in the work with her clients.

All this knowledge and experience she’s blending together to offer the best individual tailor-made coaching package for her clients to help them in their transformation and personal growth process.
